Hello, my name is Lucy!
I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine; I double majored in Business Administration and Political Science. My passions lie in creativity and exploration. I love travel, language, music, and art. I am in the process of learning different languages for countries that I want to eventually travel to and practicing the guitar and ukulele. Art holds a special place in my heart because I have taken classes from such a young age. Although I consider myself extremely motivated, there are some days where I like to stay in bed with a good book or show.

CAMPUS INVOLVEMENTS
During my time so far at the University of California, Irvine, I have been mostly involved with the student body government of The Paul Merage School of Business - the Merage Undergraduate Student Association (MUSA). Before I graduate, I would have held 3 positions in this organization. I was a MUSA Representative my first year (2015-2016), the Vice President of Internal Relations my second year (2016-2017), and the Vice President of Communications my final year (2018-2019). I would have loved to have been in the organization all four years of my college career but since I studied abroad my third year, I was unable to run for office. The Association has given me so many opportunities to work with different students leaders as well as faculty. I appreciate that I am able to give back and help build a community where students can thrive. I can wholeheartedly say that MUSA has truly made my college experience something worthwhile and unforgettable.
MUSA Representative
As a MUSA Rep, I learned the basics of professionalism and networking. Along with the other reps, I planned and executed fundraisers and participated in community service events. This position gave me a good basis entering the business world.
VP of Internal Relations
For this position, my main task was governing the MUSA Reps program. This was a great learning experience because I was able to plan the schedule, requirements, meeting materials, and things needed for the program the operate smoothly. I also planned socials for both the board and the reps to mingle.
VP of Communications
This is my current position in MUSA. I am able to contribute to my organization and community by making sure that everything runs smoothly. And because I have previous experience on board, I am able to help those that need it by becoming a leader.
